New FUHSO VC Professor Francis Aba Uba Pledges Transformation

Professor Francis Aba Uba, the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO), has promised to transform the institution.

In his inaugural address to staff and students, Prof. Uba expressed gratitude to key stakeholders and acknowledged the university's potential for growth.

He emphasized the need for more colleges and faculties, suggesting the establishment of a College of Agriculture and Medical Engineering, in addition to the existing medical programs. The new VC assured staff and students of a new era of welfarism, unity, and progress, calling for the withdrawal of all legal cases against the university and urging staff to eschew rumor-mongering. Prof. Uba pledged to lead the institution with a fatherly approach, prioritizing transparency, accountability, and discipline.
