The new VC assured staff and students of a new era of welfarism, unity, and progress, calling for the withdrawal of all legal cases against the university and urging staff to eschew rumor-mongering. Prof. Uba pledged to lead the institution with a fatherly approach, prioritizing transparency, accountability, and discipline.
