Newgate University, Minna, officially welcomed 840 new students during its 4th Matriculation Ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the University’s academic calendar.

The event was vibrant and celebratory, reflecting the pride and aspirations of both students and their families.

In his welcome address, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sadiq Yusuf congratulated the incoming students and urged them to uphold the University’s values of excellence, discipline, and purposeful learning. He highlighted the significance of matriculation, describing it as “a solemn academic covenant between you and the University.”

Prof. Yusuf reassured students and parents that Newgate University is equipped with the human and material resources necessary to foster academic and moral development.
