According to the announcement, only applicants who scored *180 and above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)** conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board and who selected the Nigerian Defense Academy as their first-choice institution will be qualified to sit for the screening test.
The NDA emphasized that this requirement is part of its standard admission process, aimed at ensuring only suitably qualified candidates proceed to the next stage.
As part of preparations for the nationwide exercise, the academy disclosed that eligible candidates will begin receiving emails starting May 20, 2026. These emails will guide applicants to select their preferred state for the screening test.
