NMGS, NAPE UDUS Chapter to Host Orientation Session for New Students

The Nigeria Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS) and the National Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) Chapter, are set to host an orientation session for new students on February 27, 2025.

 

The event, scheduled to take place at 10:00 AM at the Department of Geology building, aims to provide new students with a comprehensive introduction to the academic and professional landscape of geology and petroleum exploration at UDUS.

According to Lanre Oluwatosin, Social Director of the association, the orientation session is designed to enhance student involvement in the department, promote academic excellence, and provide fresh students with a strong foundation in their first year.
