Muslim Youth Association and Muslim Council Pay Courtesy Visit to ADSU VC

The Vice-Chancellor of Adamawa State University, Mubi, Prof. Augustine Clement, on Thursday, 10th September, 2026, received in audience the leadership of the Muslim Youth Association of Nigeria, Adamawa State Chapter, alongside the Executive Members of the Muslim Council of Adamawa State, Mubi South Local Government Area.

The delegation, led by Engr. Musa Bello Moddibo, paid the courtesy visit to congratulate Prof. Clement on his appointment as the 7th Vice-Chancellor of Adamawa State University, Mubi. In his remarks, Engr. Moddibo highlighted the purpose of the visit, noting that it was to celebrate the Vice-Chancellor's new role and to acknowledge his developmental strides in transforming Adamawa State University to align with global best practices.

In his response, Prof. Augustine Clement expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Council for finding him worthy of such recognition and for acknowledging his efforts toward institutional transformation. He emphasized that his achievements would not have been possible without the unwavering support of the Visitor to the University, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri. The Vice-Chancellor underscored the Governor's magnanimous contributions to the growth of the university, noting that such support has enabled him to perform to expectation.

Prof. Clement further appealed to the Council for their continuous prayers, stressing that divine guidance and communal support are essential for sustaining progress and achieving greater milestones.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Council offered prayers for the Vice-Chancellor, asking for wisdom, strength, and success in his leadership of Adamawa State University.
