Northwest University Kano to Host Free Eye Clinic Outreach
Northwest University Kano (NWU) is set to host a free eye clinic outreach for its staff and students, in collaboration with SEE WELL and sponsored by VisionSpring. The outreach aims to provide essential eye care services, including free eye tests, to ensure the well-being of the university community.
The eye test will be conducted at the Faculty of Basic Medical Science Lecture Hall from Monday, February 17, to Thursday, February 20, 2025. The schedule for the outreach has been organized by faculties and departments to ensure that all members of the university community have the opportunity to participate.
Key highlights of the outreach include:
- Free eye tests for all staff and students
- Subsidized cost of ₦2,000 for spectacles for those in need
- Referral to the SEE WELL Clinic for further medical examination, if required
