NSUK and College of Education Zuba Strengthen Ties with Memorandum of Understanding
Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), and FCT College of Education, Zuba, solidified their partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance collaboration.
On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) hosted a significant meeting to further solidify its collaboration with FCT College of Education, Zuba. The Vice-Chancellor of NSUK, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, a UNESCO Fellow and ACLS and FIIFPN honoree, welcomed Dr. Sule Mundi, Provost of the FCT College of Education, Zuba, along with the Registrar, Zainab Itakure, to her office.
During the meeting, Dr. Mundi emphasized the importance of strengthening the existing relationship between the two institutions, noting that NSUK is one of the most popular state universities in Nigeria, offering unique programs not commonly found at other institutions. He expressed the College’s enthusiasm for deepening its partnership with NSUK through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which will benefit both parties.
In her response, Professor Liman expressed gratitude to the College for recognizing NSUK as a valuable partner. She highlighted that the MoU will further enhance the affiliation and collaboration between the two institutions, promoting academic growth and mutual benefits.
The event concluded with the formal signing of the MoU by the Vice-Chancellor and Provost, followed by an exchange of souvenirs to commemorate the occasion. Key NSUK officials in attendance included Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Administration, Professor Theophilus Daniel Lagi, University Bursar, Registrar Dr. Bala Isyaka Ahmed II, Mallam Murtala Abubakar Kana, and the Director of Academic Planning, Professor Abdullahi Adamu Sulaiman.
This milestone event marks a step forward in fostering academic partnerships and expanding educational opportunities between Nasarawa State University, Keffi, and FCT College of Education, Zuba.
