NSUK Students Emerge Victorious at CIPM Zonal Competition

The Vice-Chanc ellor of Nasarawa State University, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, Fellow of UNESCO, ACLS, FIIFP, CBER congratulated the students of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, for their impressive performance in a virtual zonal qiuz competition organized by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Nigeria, which was held on 26th June, 2025.

The competition brought together students from six geopolitical zones, with NSUK students emerging victorious in the North-Central zone.

The Vice-Chancellor praised the students on Monday, 1st September, 2025, during a warm reception at the University's Council Chamber. She encouraged them to embrace creativity in overcoming challenges and to exert additional efforts in order to compete in national and international competitions in order to stand out so as to be able to secure grants, scholarships and awards.

She extended her congratulations to the Deans of faculties of Social Sciences and that of Administration, Professors Yahaya Adadu, and A. D. Zubairu, the faculties from where the students came from, as well as to the Dean of Students' Affairs Division, Dr. Yahaya Mohammad, for their unwavering support and contributions to the students' success.

In his remarks, Dr. Yahaya Mohammad congratulated the students on their achievement and expressed gratitude to the university management for their support throughout the competition. He also acknowledged the Deans of the two faculties for their exceptional support and cooperation, which contributed to the success oftheexercise.

The event was attended by the principal officers of the university and concluded with a presentation of a plaque in recognition of the competition to the Vice-Chancellor by the Dean, Students' Affairs Division, the presentation of certificates to the participants by the Vice-Chancellor, and group photographs to commemorate this significant event.
