NUGA Zone E Preliminaries: BUK Male and Female Volleyball Teams Begin Campaign with Convincing Wins

Bayero University Kano’s male and female volleyball teams started their NUGA Zone E preliminaries in outstanding fashion, recording emphatic victories in their opening matches at the Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil.
The male team triumphed over the host university with a straight 2–0 win, while the female team dominated Federal University, Dutse, defeating them 2–0 in a thrilling encounter on Tuesday morning.
Head Coach Usman Habib Abdullah expressed satisfaction with the teams’ performances, commending their motivation and commitment. He assured that both teams are fully focused on securing qualification for the main NUGA Games scheduled to hold next month at the University of Jos.
The male team is set to face Federal University, Dutse, while the female team will take on Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil, later today (Tuesday, 28th October, 2025) at 3pm.
