OGITECH SUG Gives Back to Students, Distributes Exercise Books

The Student Union Government (SUG) of Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Igbesa, has distributed thousands of customized exercise books to students as the first semester examinations get underway.

The distribution, coordinated through the Heads of Class (HOCs), was carried out by the 2024/2025 administration comprising the Central Executive Council (CEC) and the Students’ Parliamentary Council (SPC), under the leadership of the Acting President, Comr. Oguntosin Daniel Damilola, and the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Folarin Eniola Rhoda.

Speaking on the initiative, the Acting President said it was aimed at supporting students during the examination period. “The distribution comes at this point in the semester because it is examination season. The book serves as sheets for students to aid their revision,” he explained.

The Rector of the institution, Dr. Abiodun Oluseye, while receiving the students union leaders at his office commended the SUG for the gesture and encouraged subsequent administrations to build on it.

In her remarks, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Folarin Eniola, said the gesture was also a way of appreciating the student body. “This is to appreciate the entire student body for their cooperation and contribution to the success of this administration,” she noted.
