Oke Omolola Odunayo Makes History as First Female First-Class Graduate from IBBUL Water Resources Department

Oke Omolola Odunayo has set a new academic benchmark, making history as the first-ever female student to graduate with First Class Honours from the Department of Water Resources & Environmental Engineering at the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai (IBBUL).

Odunayo achieved a remarkable Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.85 out of a possible 5.00. This outstanding score is the highest ever recorded since the department’s inception, marking a significant milestone for both the engineering faculty and female participation in STEM fields.

Now a graduate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (GMNSE) and the Nigerian Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (GMNIEE), Odunayo expressed gratitude for the journey and the historic achievement.
