Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has announced the schedule for its 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening exercise. This screening is open to candidates who selected UNIOSUN as their first choice or those willing to change their institution to make UNIOSUN their first choice, provided they have a minimum score of 160 marks.

However, candidates who scored less than 200 marks will not be considered for admission into the following programs: Nursing, Medicine, Law, and Common and Islamic Law. Those who scored below the required marks for these courses are encouraged to switch to other relevant programs.

In accordance with national policy, candidates who will be under 16 years of age by December 31, 2024, are not eligible to apply.

Application Process:

Candidates must register online by visiting the university’s website at https://www.uniosun.edu.ng or https://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng to complete and submit their application forms. After submission, candidates should print two copies of the application form.

Direct Entry Candidates:

Direct Entry candidates should also complete their applications online via the university’s website. They must ensure they meet the university’s admission requirements before applying. Additionally, they are required to forward their academic transcripts to the Registrar of Osun State University by Friday, October 4, 2024.

All Direct Entry candidates, including those in the UNIOSUN (IJMB, JUPEB) Programme, must have obtained the Direct Entry Form from JAMB and apply for the screening exercise to be considered for admission for the 2024/2025 academic session.

UNIOSUN has detailed the eligibility criteria and application process for its 2024/2025 admissions. Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in relevant subjects at no more than two sittings. For Medicine, Nursing, and Law, candidates must achieve these passes in one sitting. Direct Entry candidates may be accepted with a minimum of Lower Credit.

Candidates are urged to provide accurate information on the University Portal. Any falsification will lead to prosecution and withdrawal of admission, with no refund of fees. Candidates awaiting results must submit them within one week of release. Participation in the screening exercise is mandatory for admission consideration.

Central Admission Processing System (CAPS):

The 2024/2025 admission exercise will utilize the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) by JAMB. Candidates must upload their O’ Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal as a pre-condition for admission.

Medical Examination:

Admitted candidates will undergo a mandatory medical examination, including drug screening.

Candidates should visit the UNIOSUN Post UTME Portal to complete their applications. They must read all registration guidelines carefully before proceeding. Payments of ₦3,000 for the Portal Access Fee and ₦2,000 for the Post-UTME Screening can be made through the Remita Web PAY Platform using ATM Cards (MasterCard, Verve Card, and REMITA).

Deadline for submission of forms closes at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, 13th October, 2024.
