The executives of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD), FUTA Branch, alongside the South-West Coordinator, Professor Adenike Olaseinde, and the National President of OWSD Nigeria, Professor Folasade Olajuigbe, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Professor Adenike Oladiji, on Friday, 23 January 2026.

The executives of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD), FUTA Branch, alongside the South-West Coordinator, Professor Adenike Olaseinde, and the National President of OWSD Nigeria, Professor Folasade Olajuigbe, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Professor Adenike Oladiji, on Friday, 23 January 2026.

The visit was aimed at appreciating the Vice-Chancellor for her sustained support and contributions to the growth and development of the OWSD FUTA Branch.

During the visit, the OWSD delegation presented Professor Oladiji with a self-portrait as a token of appreciation, in recognition of her leadership, mentorship, and commitment to advancing women in science within the University and beyond.

The delegation commended the Vice-Chancellor for creating an enabling environment that supports female academics and researchers, noting that her encouragement has significantly strengthened the activities and visibility of the OWSD FUTA Branch.
