Prada Uzodimma Law School Scholarship Grant Opens Application Portal for 2024 Cycle

The Prada Uzodimma Law School Scholarship Grant (PUSG) has opened applications for its 2024 cycle, offering financial support to indigent law school aspirants across Nigeria. Established in 2021 by Barrister Prada Uzodimma in collaboration with Principle Legal Consult, PUSG aims to cover the tuition fees for deserving law students.

The Prada Uzodimma Law School Scholarship Grant (PUSG), an initiative aimed at supporting financially disadvantaged law school aspirants, has opened its application portal for the 2024 cycle. The announcement was made by Barrister Prada Uzodimma, founder of PUSG, in a recent statement highlighting the program’s ongoing commitment to providing financial aid to indigent students pursuing legal education across Nigeria.

According to Barrister Uzodimma, the application portal can be accessed via the Principle Legal Consult website at www.principlelegalconsult.com/scholarship, with updates available on Principle Legal Consult’s social media handles, @plconsult_ on Twitter and Instagram.

"PUSG is an educational initiative that has been catering to aspiring law school students in need. We are thrilled to announce that the portal is now open for the 2024 cycle," she said.

The scholarship program, which began in 2021, has made significant strides in empowering future legal practitioners. Since its inception, PUSG has supported 30 law students, with beneficiaries graduating each year. In 2022, the Fireside Mentorship platform was introduced, providing guidance to 10 students, while in 2023, internship programs were launched to connect beneficiaries with top law firms and organizations.

Looking forward to this year's cycle, Barrister Uzodimma hinted at special plans involving the active participation of alumni beneficiaries in the selection process. "We are looking forward to your applications and welcoming you into the league of next-generation outstanding lawyers," she added, noting that the application deadline is set for November 3.

Barrister Uzodimma also took the opportunity to thank PUSG's partners for their continuous support, emphasizing the importance of extending opportunities to those in need. She urged well-meaning Nigerians to support the initiative, stressing the transformative impact it has on the lives of the beneficiaries.

The PUSG, established as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) collaboration between Barrister Prada Uzodimma and Principle Legal Consult, covers the tuition fees for the Nigerian Law School. The initiative has received commendations from key stakeholders in the legal community, including endorsements from the Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, Prof. Isa Hayatu Chiroma, and former Attorney General/Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami.
