In a profound moment of reflection, the outgoing Vice-Chancellor of the University of Delta (UNIDEL), Prof. Stella Chiemeke, has credited the success of her five-year tenure to divine intervention, describing God as the "solid rock" of her administration.

The declaration was made during the 55th edition of the UNIDEL Intercessory Prayer held on April 1, 2026. Prof. Chiemeke used the spiritual gathering to deliver a heartfelt valedictory, thanking the university community for their support while emphasizing that faith was the driving force behind the institution's rapid development.

The service, themed "All the way to Calvary He went for me," featured an exhortation by Rev. Favour Edokpayi, who urged the congregation to maintain spiritual discipline and unwavering faith.

The Registrar, Barr. Richmond Omagbemi, delivered the vote of thanks, praising the Intercessory Committee for its spiritual stewardship. He lauded Prof. Chiemeke’s "impactful leadership" and called on the university staff and students to preserve and build upon the legacies of her administration.
