FETHI CMD Receives Ido-Ekiti DPO, Strengthens Hospital Security Partnership

 In a move to reinforce the safety of staff and patients, the Chief Medical Director of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti (FETHI), Prof. Kolawole Ogundipe, hosted a strategic security meeting with the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ido-Ekiti, Mr. Egbikume Jose, on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

The visit centered on deepening the existing collaboration between the hospital and the Nigerian Police Force to ensure a secure environment for healthcare delivery.

During the meeting, the hospital’s Chief Security Officer, Mr. Sola Ogundare, highlighted that FETHI has enjoyed nearly a decade of seamless cooperation with the local police. This partnership has been instrumental in safeguarding lives and property within the expansive hospital complex.
