FETHI CMD Receives Ido-Ekiti DPO, Strengthens Hospital Security Partnership

 In a move to reinforce the safety of staff and patients, the Chief Medical Director of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti (FETHI), Prof. Kolawole Ogundipe, hosted a strategic security meeting with the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ido-Ekiti, Mr. Egbikume Jose, on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

The visit centered on deepening the existing collaboration between the hospital and the Nigerian Police Force to ensure a secure environment for healthcare delivery.

During the meeting, the hospital’s Chief Security Officer, Mr. Sola Ogundare, highlighted that FETHI has enjoyed nearly a decade of seamless cooperation with the local police. This partnership has been instrumental in safeguarding lives and property within the expansive hospital complex.

Prof. Ogundipe expressed his sincere gratitude to the DPO for the police force's consistent support. He emphasized that institutional safety is a top priority for his administration and expressed optimism for even more robust assistance in the future to tackle emerging security challenges.
