Professor Ezra Shiloba Gbaje Honored as Fellow of Nigerian Library Association
Professor Ezra Shiloba Gbaje, former University Librarian of Federal University Lokoja (FUL), has been conferred as a Fellow of the Nigerian Library Association (FNLA).
This prestigious recognition highlights his significant contributions to the field of library and information science.
As a renowned professor of library and information science, Gbaje has demonstrated exceptional leadership and academic excellence. He served as the University Librarian of FUL until August 2020 and later became the pioneer Head of Department of Library and Information Science. In December 2022, he was appointed as the pioneer Director of the Institute of Continuing Education at FUL .
Professor Gbaje has delivered notable lectures, including the 13th Inaugural Lecture Series of FUL, where he presented on "Beyond Digitalization: Access and Preservation" in July 2023. He was also promoted to the rank of full professor by the university's senate in November 2021 .
