Professor Mayowa Owolabi Elected to National Academy of Medicine

Professor Mayowa Owolabi, a renowned Nigerian neurologist, has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine (NAM), a prestigious honor recognizing his outstanding contributions to health and medicine.

As Director of the Center for Genomic and Precision Medicine at the University of Ibadan, Owolabi's expertise spans implementation science, translational genomic epidemiology, and cardiovascular diseases. His achievements include introducing the 'Seed of Life Model' and HRQOLISP, a quality of life measure for stroke survivors.
