Professor Pantami Meets with Khalifa Aminu, Young Kano Inventor

Professor Isa Ali Pantami, a renowned academic and innovator, recently met with Khalifa Aminu, a 19-year-old tech prodigy from Kano, Nigeria.

Khalifa has developed remarkable innovations, including a device that assists visually impaired individuals in navigating obstacles via a buzzer system. This device is part of his efforts to harness technology for societal benefit.

During their meeting in Abuja, Professor Pantami warmly received Khalifa and his father, offering valuable guidance on focusing innovations that benefit humanity. Pantami emphasized the importance of youth becoming problem solvers, solution providers, and job creators through innovation. This meeting was facilitated by Salisu Abdurrazzak Saheel, one of Pantami's mentees.

Khalifa's work has garnered attention, including interest from Nigeria's National Commission for Persons with Disabilities, which aims to assess and support the sensory glasses' development. Engausa Global Tech Hub has also recognized Khalifa's potential, offering a scholarship and mentorship .
