Red cross CDS group sensitizes Ataoja School of Science on persoanl Hygiene

The Red Cross Community Development Service Group Osogbo Local Government Area, Osun State have sensitised students of Ataoja School of Science on general body hygiene.

The sensitisation programme which held at the school premises on Tuesday, was geared towards educating the Students on proper ways of using sanitary pads, toothbrushes, and maintaining of personal and environmental hygiene.

The students were encouraged to wash their hands regularly, take their bath and clean their immediate environment to avoid contracting infections and diseases. 

The president of the CDS Group, Victor Ominyi stated that cleanliness is next to godliness and urged every Student to take as sacrosanct their personal hygiene.

Meanwhile, the Community Development Service Group distributed items such as sanitary pads, toothbrushes, tooth pastes and educational materials among others to the students. 

It was an insightful session with the Students as the management of the School appreciated the presence and efforts of the NYSC through the Corps Members in giving back to the society.
