Redeemer’s University Announces Details for 16th Convocation Ceremony for 2023/2024 Graduands
Redeemer's University has announced the schedule for its 16th convocation ceremony for the 2023/2024 academic session, set to take place from October 2 to October 11, 2024, at its Ede, Osun State campus.

Redeemer's University has officially announced the date and details for its 16th convocation ceremony, set to take place over nine days from October 2 to October 11, 2024, at the university’s main campus in Ede, Osun State. The event promises a series of significant activities designed to celebrate the achievements of the 2023/2024 graduands.
The convocation festivities will kick off on Wednesday, October 2, with a live interview featuring the Vice-Chancellor, which will be broadcasted on OSBC TV at 11:30 a.m. and later on OSBC Radio at 1:15 p.m. Following this, another interview session is scheduled for Thursday, October 3, at 9:30 a.m. on Redeemer’s 103.5 FM.
Graduating students will participate in a special visitor’s meeting on Thursday, October 3, following the Holy Communion at the RCCG Simawa Arena. The spiritual activities will continue with an Anointing Service during the Holy Ghost Service on Friday, October 4, also at the RCCG Simawa Arena.
A Thanksgiving Service, a moment of gratitude and reflection, will take place on Sunday, October 6, at 9:00 a.m. in the University Auditorium. The following day, Monday, October 7, a press conference will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Senate Chamber, followed by a sporting event at 4:00 p.m. at the RUN Sports Arena.
On Tuesday, October 8, the university will honor distinguished students with awards and recognition at 10:00 a.m., followed by an Alumni Cocktail later that evening at 6:00 p.m. in the University Auditorium.
The highlight of the convocation, the Convocation Lecture, titled Anchored in Faith: Succeeding with Integrity in a Dynamic World, will be delivered by Mr. Alex Okoh, Director General and former Chief Executive Officer of the Bureau of Public Enterprises, Abuja, on Wednesday, October 9, at 11:00 a.m. in the University Auditorium. The day's events will conclude with a convocation play at 7:00 p.m. at the BOJA Hall.
The main Convocation Ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, October 10, at 10:00 a.m. in the University Auditorium, where graduands will receive their degrees and diplomas in the presence of faculty, family, and friends.
Additionally, the university has announced that new students for the 2024/2025 academic session will resume on October 14, while returning students are expected back on October 21, 2024.
