Sa'adu Zungur University Grants Amnesty to Students Withdrawn Due to Expiration of Residency

Sa'adu Zungur University, Bauchi State, has granted a one-off amnesty to students who were withdrawn from the university due to expiration of their residency period. The decision was made by the university's Senate at its 56th Regular Meeting held on July 10, 2025.

The amnesty applies to students who were withdrawn between the 2018/2019 and 2024/2025 Academic Sessions. These students will be allowed to register and complete their outstanding courses in the 2025/2026 Academic Session, subject to fulfilling all the requirements for registration.

The university's decision aims to provide an opportunity for students who have been unable to complete their studies due to residency issues to complete their programs. The amnesty is limited to students withdrawn solely due to expiration of residency period.
