Sa'adu Zungur University Hails Governor Bala Mohammed for National Excellence in Governance Award

The Management, Staff, Students, and entire community of Sa'adu Zungur University (SAZU) have extended heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, His Excellency, Sen. (Dr) Bala A. Mohammed, CON, for receiving the prestigious Award on Excellence in Governance and Regional Growth.

The award was conferred by The Best Strategic (TBS) Media, in collaboration with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and The Presidency, during a high-profile ceremony in Abuja.

SAZU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Fatimah Tahir, remarked that the institution shares in the joy of the Governor's national recognition, particularly as the award was personally presented by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmad Tinubu, who recognized Governor Mohammed as the “Outstanding Governor.”

“This recognition is a testament to the Governor’s visionary leadership and commitment to the progress of Bauchi State. His relentless pursuit of development, particularly in the critical areas of infrastructure and the education sector, is evident and highly commendable,” Professor Tahir stated.

The University specifically noted that SAZU itself is a direct beneficiary of the Governor's significant investment in education, which has been crucial to the institution's rapid growth and development.
