Sa'adu Zungur University Releases 2026/2027 Merit Admission List, Invites Candidates for Physical Screening

Sa'adu Zungur University, Gadau, Bauchi State, has announced the release of the merit list of candidates provisionally admitted into undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

In a notice dated 15th July, 2026 and signed by the Registrar, A. G. Hassan, Ph.D., the university invited all shortlisted candidates to attend physical screening at their respective campuses where the programmes are domiciled.

The physical screening is scheduled to commence on Monday, 28th September, 2026 and will close on Friday, 9th October, 2026. Candidates are advised to visit the university portal at http://www.basug.edu.ng to check the merit list.

The university stated that candidates are required to come along with originals and photocopies of the following credentials for verification:

1. Computer printout of SSCE Result

2. JAMB Result

3. Online Screening Form

4. A recent Passport Photograph

5. Scratch Card for verification of O' Level result

The management further directed that candidates must ensure they upload their O' Level results on the JAMB Portal at any JAMB accredited centre before coming for the screening.

The notice added that two to three days after a successful screening, candidates should check the JAMB Portal to accept and print their JAMB Admission Letters.

It also noted that only candidates who have accepted their admission on JAMB CAPS will be able to access the Sa'adu Zungur University admission on the university portal.
