Sarkin Kofar Gadon Kaya Visits Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Pledges Support for Educational Development

The management of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), on Monday, 3rd November 2025, received the Sarkin Kofar Gadon Kaya, Alhaji Bello Isah Idris, on a courtesy visit to the institution.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdulrashid Garba, led the university management team in welcoming the traditional ruler and his entourage. The visit was aimed at strengthening collaboration between the university and traditional institutions in fostering community development and educational advancement.

In his remarks, Professor Garba expressed appreciation for the Sarki’s visit and his continued interest in the growth of the university. He noted that partnerships with traditional leaders play a vital role in promoting harmony and moral excellence within the community.

Responding, Alhaji Bello Isah Idris commended the university for its commitment to discipline, quality education, and community service. He assured the management of his support in advancing the institution’s vision.

Speaking after the event, the Acting Director of Corporate Affairs and Marketing, Bilal Dahiru Tijjani, described the visit as a reflection of KHAIRUN’s strong relationship with its host community and reaffirmed the university’s resolve to sustain such mutually beneficial engagements.
