Senator Buhari Donates Customized Tracksuits to LAUTECH Contingent Ahead of NUGA Games

The Senator representing Oyo North Federal Constituency, Dr. Abdulfatai Omotayo Buhari, has presented customized tracksuits to the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, for use by its contingents at the upcoming Nigeria University Games Association (NUGA) competition in Jos, Plateau State.

The donation was formally delivered to the University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, through the Chairman of the Sports Committee, Professor K. O. Oriola. The Vice-Chancellor was represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Strategy and Development), Professor Tunde Ogunkunle, supported by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and Innovation), Professor Dauda Araromi.

Also present at the ceremony were the Director of Sports, Mrs. Dorcas Olaosebikan, and several LAUTECH athletes who will participate in the NUGA games.

Professor Kalilu, while expressing appreciation on behalf of the University community, commended Senator Buhari for his thoughtful gesture and called on other well-meaning individuals to emulate such acts of support towards advancing sports and institutional development.
