Southern Delta University Announces Admission into Pre-Degree Programmes for 2025/2026 Session

Southern Delta University, Ozoro, Delta State, formerly Delta State University of Science and Technology, has officially announced the commencement of admission into its Pre-Degree Programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The announcement was made by the Director of Pre-Degree Programme, Prof. P. E. Akpotu, who signed the admission notice on behalf of the institution.

According to the publication, the Pre-Degree Programmes serve as a preparatory platform leading to admission into 100 level Bachelor’s degree programmes of the university across its various faculties.

General Admission Requirements

Prof. P. E. Akpotu stated that all candidates must possess five (5) credits in relevant subjects in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent in not more than two sittings, as contained in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination requirements. Candidates must also show evidence of being registered for the 2025/2026 UTME.

Method of Application

Applicants are to pay into Deposit Money Banks (not Microfinance Banks) in favour of Delta State University of Science and Technology to obtain a Bank Draft. The purchased Bank Draft should be tendered at the institution’s Bursary Department, after which receipts should be obtained and a copy of the application form collected from the Admission Office.
