Sule Lamido University Hosts NUC Accreditation Teams for Two Programs

Sule Lamido University (SLU), Kafin Hausa, welcomed National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation teams on Friday, November 29, 2024, for the evaluation of its B.Sc. Business Management and B.A. English programs. The programs, offered under the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences and the Faculty of Humanities respectively, are undergoing the mandatory accreditation process to ensure academic excellence.  

During a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Yakasai, the team leaders—Professor James J. Adefila from the University of Maiduguri and Professor Moses Tsenongu from Benue State University, Makurdi—emphasized their commitment to enhancing the quality of the programs through rigorous evaluation.

Other members of the accreditation teams include Professor Benjamin K. Guyong from Kaduna State University for the Business Management program and Professor Shimawua Atiangu from the University of Abuja for the English program.
