The Sule Lamido University community is in mourning following the tragic death of Habiba, a 300-level student, who passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025. The university's students, particularly those in the History and International Studies department, are deeply saddened by the loss.
The community has come together to offer condolences to Habiba's family, friends, and the entire SLU community. Muhammad Tarbiyya Elleman, Financial Secretary of the National Association of History and International Studies SLUK chapter, expressed his sorrow and prayed for Habiba's eternal rest.
The university community prays that Almighty Allah forgives Habiba's shortcomings, grants her eternal rest, and admits her into Jannatul Firdaus. May her memory be a blessing to those who knew her, and may her passing bring comfort and solace to her loved ones.
