TASFUED Lecturer Wins Best Emerging Scholar Award at International Conference

A lecturer in the Department of French at Tai Solarin Federal University of Education (TASFUED), Ijagun, Miss Ruth Damilola Adeoye, has brought honour to the institution after emerging winner of the Best Emerging Scholar Award at the 6th Biennial International Conference hosted by the Department of Foreign Languages, University of Benin (UNIBEN).

A lecturer in the Department of French at Tai Solarin Federal University of Education (TASFUED), Ijagun, Miss Ruth Damilola Adeoye, has brought honour to the institution after emerging winner of the Best Emerging Scholar Award at the 6th Biennial International Conference hosted by the Department of Foreign Languages, University of Benin (UNIBEN).

The conference, held from May 17 to 21, 2026, centered on the theme “Franco-Nigerian Literature, Language and Culture” and brought together scholars, researchers, and academics from across Nigeria and beyond for high-level intellectual engagement.

Miss Adeoye distinguished herself through an outstanding paper presentation, which earned her the award at the closing ceremony of the event. Her performance was noted for originality, academic depth, and clarity of thought, reinforcing her reputation as a promising scholar in the field of French studies.
