TASUED Formally Joins Federal University System at 17th Convocation

 In a milestone event on January 28 and 29, 2026, Tai Solarin Federal University of Education (TASUED) celebrated its 17th Convocation Ceremony, officially marking its transition from a state-owned institution to a federal university. 

The ceremony was headlined by the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Federal Government and the Ogun State Government, sealing the transfer of ownership.

Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. Adekunle Adeogun described the convocation as a "celebration of transformation," noting that the university has maintained 100% accreditation for all academic programmes during this transition.
