Thomas Adewumi University has recorded a major international visibility milestone following its participation at the Global Education Conclave hosted by CGC University in Mohali, India.

The university was represented by the Director of the Career Centre, Samuel Farohunbi, who delivered a panel presentation at the high-level academic gathering themed “Rethinking Global Academia for a New Human Epoch.”
Farohunbi was the only Nigerian among more than 125 participants drawn from over 60 countries, including academics, diplomats, and education sector professionals, positioning the institution within a highly competitive global knowledge exchange environment.
During his presentation, he spoke on “AI and the Academic Mind: Navigating the Human–Machine Intelligence Nexus,” highlighting emerging developments in artificial intelligence, digital health, and innovation-driven education frameworks at Thomas Adewumi University.
He also participated in strategic discussion panels focused on student exchange programmes, research collaboration, digital skills development, academic diplomacy, and leadership in emerging digital education ecosystems.
Farohunbi, who also serves as an adjunct professor at CGC University, was honoured with an award of excellence in recognition of his contribution to the conference and broader academic discourse.

The recognition is expected to strengthen opportunities for international partnerships, including faculty and student exchange programmes as well as joint research initiatives between TAU and participating global institutions.
The development underscores the university’s growing emphasis on innovation, digital transformation, and global academic engagement as part of its institutional growth strategy.
