One week after their stellar performance, the Technology and Engineering Students’ Association (TESA) of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) continues to celebrate its victory at the Inter-University Debate Competition held at Redeemer’s University, Osun State. 

The competition, staged at the Sapetro Lecture Theatre, brought together top engineering minds to deliberate on the critical intersection of technology and professional practice.

Representing OAU, the duo of Adebodun Fathia and Fajuyi Ikeoluwa delivered a masterclass in rhetoric and technical insight. Addressing the contemporary topic, "Automation and AI: Threat or Opportunity for Future Engineers?", the OAU representatives argued with an intellectual depth that resonated with both the judges and the audience.

Through a combination of clarity and confidence, Fathia and Ikeoluwa outperformed their counterparts from other institutions to secure the first-place trophy for TESA OAU.

The association described the victory as a "statement of brilliance," reaffirming OAU's position as a leader in technical education and critical thinking. The win adds to a growing list of accolades for the Faculty of Engineering as it continues to foster excellence beyond the classroom.
