Thomas Adewumi University Confers Honorary Doctorate Degrees on Two Eminent Nigerians

Thomas Adewumi University has marked a significant highlight of its 2nd Convocation Ceremony with the conferment of honorary doctorate degrees on two distinguished national figures whose achievements reflect the institution’s ethos of excellence, leadership, and societal impact.

Engr. Oluseyi Afolabi, MNSE, FNSChE, Principal Consultant and Chief Executive Officer of Reservoir and Facilities Solutions Nigeria Limited, received the Doctor of Engineering (Honoris Causa). She was recognised for her pioneering contributions to Nigeria’s oil and gas industry, her exemplary leadership within the engineering profession, and her long-standing commitment to mentoring emerging engineers.

Pastor Oladokun Olatunde, Chairman of SEAP Holdings Limited, was conferred with the Doctor of Business Administration (Honoris Causa). His honour celebrates his visionary entrepreneurship, expansive job creation efforts, philanthropy, and sustained contributions to community development across the country.

The University noted that both honourees exemplify the values of innovation, service, and transformational leadership—qualities it strives to instill in every Thomas Adewumi University graduate.
