In terms of scholarly output, Oladokun recorded 106 publications, followed by Professor Ikot with 83 and Dr Edet with 64.
Oladokun also emerged as the highest-ranked Library and Information Science scholar in Nigeria and Africa during the period under review.

Reacting to the development, FUTIA Vice-Chancellor, Professor Leo Daniel, commended the three scholars for their outstanding contributions to academic scholarship through their research outputs.
Daniel, recognised as Nigeria’s first Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics, congratulated the scholars on behalf of the university’s management, staff and students.

He noted that their research contributions, alongside their teaching responsibilities and community service, had brought honour and academic recognition to the specialised university.
The vice-chancellor also urged other scholars at the institution to emulate the three academics and strive to surpass their achievements in future scholarly rankings and other research performance indicators.
