TRCN Extends 2026 Professional Qualifying Examination Registration at Nwafor Orizu College of Education

The Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Unit at Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe, has announced an extension of registration for the 2026 Professional Qualifying Examination Integrated (PQEI), following the approval of the Provost.

Under the revised timeline, registration will resume on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, giving eligible candidates another opportunity to complete their enrolment for the professional examination required for teacher certification in Nigeria.

Prospective candidates are required to report to the College TRCN Unit with their National Identification Number (NIN) and two recent passport-sized photographs to process their registration.

The TRCN Unit disclosed that the examination date will be announced later, after the completion of the registration exercise.

Candidates who are yet to register have been advised to take advantage of the extension to regularise their status and avoid being excluded from the 2026 qualifying examination.
