UCH Management Commissions 8.4kVA Solar Power System and New Equipment for NHIA Department

The Management of the Hospital, commissioned two 4.2KVA solar inverter and other items at the National Health Insurance Department(NHIA), University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan , on 24th of February ,2026.
The Head of NHIA department, Dr.Adedotun Adetunji, expressed his gratitude to the management of UCH, for supporting the department with two 4.2KVA solar inverter (One for the Health Insurance Department and the second one for annex department), A brand new 10KV generator and 5 laptops.
He further stated that the equipment commissioned would enhance patients care and qualitative service delivery.
The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo in his remarks said that , "the token was Management's gesture that keys into the Hospital's catchphrase, "Patient comfort and Staff welfare.
He further stated that the equipment would enable NHIA to work better, increase the productivity of the department and improve in services and better turn around for patients. He further asked that five standing fans be given to the department.
