The Management of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, has issued a public disclaimer, warning prospective applicants and members of the public against a fraudulent online advertisement claiming that the UCH School of Nursing is currently selling admission forms.

In a statement released by the hospital's Public Relations Office, the Management described the advertisement as false and urged the public to disregard it.

According to the statement, admission into the UCH School of Nursing is now conducted exclusively through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in line with the current national admission policy. The institution emphasised that it no longer sells admission forms or admits candidates through the direct purchase of application forms.

The Management advised prospective applicants to apply only through the JAMB admission process and to ignore any individual, website or platform advertising or offering UCH School of Nursing admission forms for sale.

It also urged candidates to verify all admission-related information through the hospital's official communication channels to avoid falling victim to fraudulent schemes.

Reiterating its commitment to a transparent admission process, the Management called on members of the public to remain vigilant and exercise caution when seeking information about admissions into the School of Nursing.

The statement was issued by the UCH Public Relations Office on behalf of the Chief Medical Director.
