UI Student Ahmed Saheed Olaide Wins World Veterinary Association Prize

A University of Ibadan student, Ahmed Saheed Olaide, has been named the Veterinary Student of the Year 2025 by the World Veterinary Association.

He won the Global Veterinary Award and will receive the prize at the WVAC 2025/AVMA convention in Washington, DC, USA.

Ahmed is a former President of the Association of Veterinary Medicine Students and a student of the Department of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Ibadan.
