UMTH CMD Leads Delegation on Sallah Courtesy Visit to Shehu of Borno

The Chief Medical Director of the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH), Professor Ahmed Ahidjo, led a delegation of fellow Chief Medical Directors from across Borno State on a Sallah homage to the Shehu of Borno, Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai El-Kanemi, at his palace in Maiduguri.

During the visit, Professor Ahidjo highlighted the importance of maintaining strong relationships with traditional leaders, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to pay homage and seek royal blessings. The Shehu of Borno commended healthcare workers for their dedication and efforts in improving public health, despite challenging conditions.
