UMTH Discharges Kidney Transplant Patients

The University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) has discharged one of its kidney transplant patients, Yusuf Abdullahi, after a successful surgery. The patient was certified medically fit to return home and continue with his life.

Abdullahi expressed gratitude to God for the successful transplant and praised UMTH for its expertise in conducting the surgery. He stated that he is now feeling much better and encouraged other kidney patients to patronize UMTH for their treatment.

Dr. Hassan Mohammed Dogo, a urologist involved in the surgery, confirmed that kidney transplant has become a viable treatment option at UMTH. He assured that the patient was medically fit for discharge, marking a significant milestone in the hospital's kidney transplant program.
