The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has opened the Second Batch of bed space allocations for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The announcement comes from the Office of the Dean of Students, with the “Fastest Finger” portal set to go live today, Wednesday, 10th December 2025, at 5:00 PM (Nigerian Time).
Students are urged to be ready and submit their applications promptly at the specified time. Any bed space successfully allocated must be cleared within two days of allocation, or the University will retrieve the space.
The University reminded students to strictly observe hostel regulations, noting that appliances such as hot plates, microwaves, washing machines, electric kettles, gas cookers, and similar devices are prohibited in hostels. Violation of these rules may result in rustication or expulsion.
The directive was signed by Professor Frederick Osaro Ekhaise, Dean of Students.
