UNIBEN Lecture-Free Days Continues Today for Matriculation of 2025/2026 Students

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has announced that Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th January 2026 will be lecture-free days for 100 Level and 200 Level Direct Entry students to allow full participation in the Orientation Programme for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

UNIBEN Lecture-Free Days Continues Today for Matriculation of 2025/2026 Students

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has announced that Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th January 2026 will be lecture-free days for 100 Level and 200 Level Direct Entry students to allow full participation in the Orientation Programme for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

The orientation activities are scheduled to begin daily at 8:00 AM at the Akin Deko Auditorium.

Additionally, Wednesday 28th January 2026 has been designated as a lecture-free day for the same students to enable their full participation in the 2025/2026 Matriculation Ceremony, in line with an earlier circular dated 21st January 2026.

All Faculties, Schools, and Institutes have been directed to ensure that the development is communicated effectively and that students comply with the schedule.
