UNILAG Clarifies Position on Hostel Fees and Consolidated Faculty/Departmental Dues

The Management of the University of Lagos has reaffirmed that there will be no increase in hostel accommodation fees for students.

In the same vein, the university has reviewed and reduced all Faculty and Departmental dues, which have now been consolidated into a single central payment system. With this adjustment, students are no longer required to make multiple payments at faculty or departmental levels throughout the semester.

However, Student Association dues—covering Faculty and Departmental Associations—will continue to be collected at the respective faculties during the screening of fresh students.

The University urges all students to complete their course registration promptly to qualify for participation in the hostel accommodation balloting exercise, which will commence shortly.
