UNIMAID Opens Applications for 2025/2026 Diploma Programmes
The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), through its Consultancy Services Center and Diploma and Certificate Programmes Unit, has commenced admissions for its diploma programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Applications are open to suitably qualified candidates for a wide range of two-year diploma programmes, including:

- Arts & Humanities: Mass Communication, Arabic Studies, Islamic Studies, Visual and Performance Arts, Politics and Development Studies
- Law & Administration: Civil Law, Public Administration
- Business & Finance: Accounting, Banking and Finance, Marketing, Business Administration
- Education: Biology Education, Chemistry Education, Physics Education, Mathematics Education
- Science & Technology: Computer Science, Information Technology, Science Laboratory Technology
- Social & Health Services: Social Work, Health and Social Services Administration
Admission Requirements:
Applicants must possess at least four credit passes in relevant subjects from WASC, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE obtained in not more than two sittings. Alternatively, candidates with four credit or merit passes from Teachers Grade II Certificate may also apply, provided that at least two subjects are relevant to the chosen programme.
Application Process:
Forms are obtainable from the Diploma and Certificate Programmes Unit, Science Complex, UNIMAID, upon payment of ₦4,000 into the UNIMAID Consult account via payunimaid.net. Completed forms must be submitted to the Diploma and Certificate Programmes Unit on or before 27 February 2026.
