UNIMEDTH CMD Charges Staff on Professionalism and Procurement Compliance
The Chief Medical Director, University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital Ondo, Prof. Michael Olumide Gbala has urged the participants at the one-day Public Procurement Seminar held at the UNIMED TETFUND Building to remain dedicated to duty and ensure strict compliance with seminar opportunities.
The CMD gave the charge while appreciating the University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ebunoluwa Adejuyigbe for initiating the educative seminar as well as arrangements being put in place to ensure successful early commencement of the seminar.
Dr. Gbala Michael noted that the University and the Teaching Hospital has a lot to do in terms of mandate and collaboration.
The CMD who tasked the participants to redoubled their efforts especially towards attending more institutional seminars and to also tap from the knowledge of the Principal Public procurement officers who have been carefully selected for the training.
He expressed satisfaction with the turnout of the staff and admonished them to see the training as a golden opportunity.
He was accompanied by the Chairman Medical Advisory Committee, Prof. Akinwumi Akinbodewa, DCMAC Research, Dr. Akinkunmi Francis, Director of Accounts, Mr. Ola Oyedare, Acting Director of Administration, Mr. Sabejeje Lawrence and other Principal Officers of the University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital."
