Preparations for the Golden Jubilee celebrations are already underway, with the management unveiling plans to commemorate the occasion in grand style. A committee led by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Professor Clifford Ofurum, has been inaugurated to spearhead the planning and execution of activities.
According to a statement from the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Owunari Georgewill, the anniversary will celebrate the university's contributions over five decades. "We call on all strategic partners, alumni, institutions, and well-wishers to join us in making this milestone truly memorable," the Vice-Chancellor said.
The appointed committee comprises representatives from various faculties and departments, ensuring inclusivity in planning. Events lined up for the celebration will highlight the university's history, achievements, and vision for the future.
