The Office of the Chief Security Officer of the Faculty of Management Sciences Students Association (FAMSSA), University of Uyo, has issued new regulations for the use of the Old Business Lecture Hall (OBLH) during night classes.

Key points from the notice dated 7th March 2026 by Chief Security Officer Udoh Mentor include:

  • Identification Requirement: Students must present a valid ID, preferably a student identity card or another approved form, to access the hall. Security personnel are authorized to deny entry to students without proper identification.
  • Room 8 Reserved: Room 8 is exclusively for final year students to facilitate academic work, research, and project preparation. Other students are prohibited from using this space.
  • Disciplinary Measures: Any student caught urinating within the OBLH premises during night classes will incur a fine of ₦5,000 and may face further disciplinary action.

The faculty stresses that compliance is mandatory to maintain discipline, cleanliness, and a secure academic environment. Students’ cooperation is essential, and security staff have been instructed to strictly enforce these rules.
