UNIUYO Faculty of Physical Sciences Announces Increase in File Charges, Sets Deadline for Freshers’ Submission

The Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Uyo (UNIUYO), has announced an upward review of the cost of faculty files and the commencement of file collection for newly admitted students in the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to a notice issued by the Faculty Officer, the four (4) files previously sold to students at ₦2,000 will now be sold for ₦2,500, effective Monday, January 26, 2026. The adjustment, the Faculty explained, is necessitated by prevailing economic realities and is aimed at enabling the association to break even.

In addition, the Faculty disclosed that collection of the four (4) files from 2025/2026 fresh students will commence on the same date, Monday, January 26, 2026. The order of submission for the exercise will be displayed on the Faculty Notice Board to guide students accordingly.

The submission process is scheduled to run for a period of two weeks, beginning from Monday, January 26, 2026, and ending on Monday, February 9, 2026.

Students, particularly newly admitted ones in the Faculty of Physical Sciences, have been advised to take note of the revised price and adhere strictly to the submission timeline to avoid any inconvenience.
