University of Abuja Acting Vice-Chancellor Boosts Morale of Sports Team at FISU/NUGA Trials

The Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja, Professor Patricia Manko Lar, visited the university's contingent participating in the ongoing International University Sports Federation (FISU)/NUGA Trials for the World University Games Qualifiers at the University of Jos.

The contingent, comprising 11 students and led by Director of Sports Professor Abu Malam, is competing in various sports, including badminton, athletics, tennis, and table tennis. The tennis team has already qualified for the semi-finals in the men's category.

Professor Lar expressed pride in the team's efforts and congratulated the University of Jos for hosting the event. She urged the teams to make the university proud with strong performances and wins, emphasizing the importance of sports excellence.
